Capt. Ian L. Paull, General Manager and Chief Pilot. Approved Testing Officer.
Ian joined Chopperline with a broad level of experience gained since graduating as an Army Helicopter Pilot in 1971. Following service throughout Australia and PNG, Ian completed Instructor training at the USA Army Aviation Centre at Fort Rucker and subsequently became Senior Flying Instructor, Rotary Wing at the Australian School of Army Aviation. His civilian career has included aircraft sales, training and management as well as ten years with CASA as a Flying Operations Inspector and Examiner of Airmen. Ian is endorsed on a wide range of multi engine aeroplanes and helicopters. Ian holds Instrument and Instructor ratings on both aeroplanes and helicopters.

| Lt. Col. H.M.(Tub) Matheson (Ret.) Chief Flying Instructor. Approved Testing Officer.
Prior to joining Chopperline, Tub was Commanding Officer and Chief Instructor of the Australian Army School of Army Aviation. He has extensive experience in Australia, Papua New Guinea and with the U.S. Army and has seen service in Vietnam. Tub trained as a Helicopter Instructor with the Royal Air Force Central Flying School and also holds an Airline Transport Pilot Licence for multi-engine aeroplanes and an aeroplane Instructor Rating. He has held a civil flight crew licence since 1962, having flown for the RFDS and Flight West as well as civil helicopters in PNG.

| Yasushi
Arakawa,
Helicopter Instructor & Theory
Our
Japanese instructor is responsible for assisting Japanese students
with both Ground School and flying instruction. Yasushi graduated
from Nipponbunri University with a Bachelor of Science (Aeronautics)
and has a helicopter instructor rating. He has experience with sheep
mustering, traffic reports and general charter work |

James Loane , Helicopter Instructor
Helicopter Instructor. James hails from Northern Ireland and obtained his Helicopter Licence in Australia in 2001. James has expertise also as an experienced theory instructor, as well as flight training. He has a diverse flying background. |

Ken
Amess, Helicopter Instructor
Worked for Chopperline as a mustering pilot before gaining his
helicopter instructor rating with us. Ken has been aerial cattle
mustering for over 14 years, mostly in North Queensland. He also
has mining support experience in the Kimberley region of Western
Australia, in the Northern Territory and Queensland. Most of Ken's
flying experience has been gained in Hillers, the R22 as well
as experience in Bell 47 and Bell 206. Ken holds aerial stock
mustering training approval |

Kurt Brumley. Helicopter Instructor.
Kurt has served ten years in the Army. During this time he served in the Middle East on active service. He obtained his licence in 2000 and recently worked in the Northern Territory as a charter pilot. |
